Eden.
I do not want to
wear clothes. It’s brisk and sunny, making
me wish that the
sun could coat
me in its coat
rather than
my wool.
My mind is rolling
in fields and shields of daisies and lazy daffodils as
my body, covered
in grass stains becomes
my cloth. Weaves
of blades of green, warm from the world’s heater, engulf
me in their
natural acupuncture.
I don a jacket and
hat wishing
my chapeau were a
crown of lilies as
I enter
my Eden paradise.
I will converse
with a snake, bite
my apple of life,
and change mankind.
But all nude.
Golden Delicious.
